Songs Songs Songs!

We're writing new stuff! We ended today's reahearsal with three new good songs. Two are mine and one is Roy's. I brought a melancholic ballad son of my favourite folksingers such as, dunno!, someone like Gram Parsons? maybe. The other one is the kind of power-ballad I'm able to write like the pole-position hit single Catch A Breath. Roy's one is a baggy-pop tune inspired by the Stone Roses... We tried to turn it into a more melodic version and we definitely did it!

We've also confirmed the studio: 20th, 21st, 22nd November @ Spazio211.

I really don't understand why you have to label a song...a song is a song...something more than unique, that comes from the deepest core of who wrote it...it doesn't matter if you write it for fun or to show your truest feelings. I think I would feel scared if my songs were compared to a specific genre of music or if they reminded the sound of a band...people should listen to your songs and not to be affected by a description...but obviously this is only my humble opinion(moreover I got the "enlightment"-regarding this-by good auld Dan...thanx!)
